About us

The EasyCard Corporation was officially established in March 2000 and is a subsidiary of EasyCard Investment Holding Co., Ltd., with a total capitalization of NT$700 million. The main shareholders of EasyCard Investment Holding are the Taipei City Government, Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation, 12 Taipei-based bus operators, Cathay United Commercial Bank, Taishin International Bank, CTBC Bank, Taipei Fubon Commercial Bank, MiTAC INC., Mercuries Data Systems Ltd., China Engineering Consultants Inc., and Sanmen Technology, with government shares accounting for about 39.27 percent.

EasyCard Investment Holding Co., Ltd.

EasyCard Investment Holding Co., Ltd. is the majority shareholder of EasyCard Corporation, it currently owns 57.68% shares. CEO Chih-Ying Lin holds a concurrent post as the CEO of EasyCard Corporation.

As of now, the paid-in-capital of EasyCard Investment Holding Co., Ltd. is NT$ 665.96 million. Taipei City Government owns 11.8% shares, Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation owns 27.5% shares, and total government shares’ shareholding ratio is 39.3%. Other shareholders including bus operators Metropolitan Transport Corporation, Taipei Bus Company, Ltd., Capital Bus Company, Ltd., bankers CTBC Bank, Taipei Fubon Commercial Bank, Taishin International Bank, E.Sun Bank, Cathay United Commercial Bank and building team MiTAC INC., Mercuries Data Systems Ltd., the total private share’s shareholding ratio is 60.7%. Besides owning EasyCard Corporation shares, EasyCard Investment Holding Co., Ltd. also owns Metro Consulting Service Ltd. 6% shares and Taiwan Mobile Payment Co., Ltd. 1% share.
